John Hopkins (University) Center for Talented Youth (CTY) offers enriched/advance academic programs during school academic year/summer, for children from grade 2-8. To get enrolled into these programs, CTY conducts a screening test (SCAT®), which is designed above grade level to challenge the kids. Other prominent universities like Stanford, Northwest, also uses SCAT® for selecting kids into their programs. Students are challenged in Verbal and Quantitative Aptitude skills through SCAT®.
